Hello Everyone! I'm so excited to start and share this new venture with you!
First of all - welcome! I am so glad you stopped by and are interested in what this I/O (Industrial Organization) hub-bub is all about.
Let me start by introducing myself and tell you a little about my background. My name is Nicole and I have been in Human Resources for over 15 years and have experienced just about all things "HR" related. There is probably not much that would surprise me - well, maybe there is - but one thing that I have found I am most passionate about is being able to help people succeed in their job. I am usually the one that people gravitate to when seeking out information or advice on how to be successful at work. Whether it be with individual success or guidance on how to manage a workload or a problem employee. I am the one that will be straight with you, tell you the truth, and not give you a made up answer. I am also a very transparent person - so if there is something that needs improvement (including you), I will let you know - tactfully, but also openly. And then I roll up my sleeves and get to work FOR and WITH you. And that's what has led me to this venture.
My intention with Industrially Organized is to provide as many resources to you all as I can that will help you be more productive, efficient, and move forward in your career. Resources such as trainings and tools that help you get organized in your specific career - Microsoft tools, spreadsheets, project tracking tools, etc. I will also provide training that is focused on soft skills like how to enhance team performance, employee performance, individual performance. Tips for all managers, including a guide for first time managers. Tools and tips on how to organize your day for maximum efficiency and how to prioritize your tasks. I will provide an unbiased, neutral, and straight forward guidance on employee relations issues. I will talk about common issues that come up at work and give the best guidance that I can. Look for my blog posts or my "snippets of information" based on frequently asked questions that have come up in my career. You may also find a soap box or two because sometimes I can't help myself.
Ok enough of that yackety-yack. Welcome and I can't wait to get started with you!!!
